Ok so I'm more confused than ever now. We are supposed to be in a recession but yet unemployment is still dropping. Could this be due to the fact that when covid hit causing "the great resignation" so many people left their jobs that we still have yet to make up for all that loss which is causing jobs to continue being created? Essentially, we are still working to get back to the baseline unemployment level in regards to those positions? Anybody have additional input here?
