So yesterday in premarket, the Dow was up 1700 points. It closed up around 800. What happened? All the coverage is of that day as an absolute win but it seems like the news was good enough that the market should have stayed up. Also today the market is up again, but assuming yesterday’s news is priced in, what is the reason for confidence? Pompeo, other cabinet members, and politicians on the hill are denying that Trump lost, plus 130,000 new Covid cases in the US, uncertainty favors the bears, no? And why is the Dow up flirting with all time highs but the Nasdaq is down? What’s going on here?
