Phone call from AMC for how I’m voting. via /r/wallstreetbets #stocks #wallstreetbets #investing

Hey guys, First time this has ever happened to me. I received a phone call from someone claiming to be with AMC asking if i received the package on voting for the upcoming board of director call. They said that the board will be voting in favor and did i want to record my vote on the call (with the guy that just called) to side with the board.

Is this normal? Iv had material before for me to record my vote but never someone calling me to tell me how the board will be voting and asking if i want to align my vote with them.

EDIT: my position is about 500 shares in 2 different accounts. So i wouldn't consider it substantial.
