Watched part of the Apple event today got board and turned it off. I know there are some autistic tech people here who can explain the benefits of Apple silicon. This new chip is combining everything in one, how big is this actually?

New m1 chip is only available on the 13 inch right now and the max ram is 16 gb. How ever if you don't get the new m1 chip you can beef up your machine to 32gb+. I've always thought more RAM the better…Apple tells me this new chip is the top performing machine they've ever built.

Do I keep buying Apple products and just believe them?
